Corinthia Hotels and ESPA collaborate to lead the trend of transforming bathrooms into spa-rooms

Corinthia Hotels’ collection of luxury properties across Europe, Russia and North Africa is growing its business partnership with leading skincare and spa brand, ESPA.

This trend setting collaboration to provide complimentary luxury ESPA bathroom amenities in all nine Corinthia Hotels is following the success of the award-winning ESPA Life spa in the flagship London hotel.   And with bath time rituals becoming more important for helping guests unwind, relax and recharge, Corinthia believes this room is rapidly becoming guests’ personal spa-style sanctuary today.

“ESPA operates our award-winning spa in London, but they also provide us with high-quality in-room amenities in our flagship hotel,” says Corinthia Hotels CEO Simon Naudi. “Our successful partnership in London in-room amenities is now being rolled out across all our Corinthia hotels.”

ESPA which was founded by Susan Harmsworth, who was awarded an MBE for her dedication to the industry, says: “When I create a product, it has to be sensuous in texture and smell.  Scent is crucial to mood.  And we see ourselves as guardians of our customers’ skin.  Modern life demands instant everything – and instant everything is rarely good for you in the long term.  By bringing together our two luxury brands we see ourselves as providing in-room treatment for the mind and body.”

Each Corinthia bathroom has a collection of Cleansing Bars plus bottles of Body Wash, Body Lotion, Shampoo and Conditioner.  All are paraben and sls free. These ESPA range of toiletries aim to dazzle the senses, all infused with Bergamot, Jasmine and a hint of Cedarwood. Aromatic essential oils lightly scent the skin.

In Corinthia’s award-winning flagship London property, guests can continue the ESPA journey at the hotel’s tranquil spa, ESPA Life at Corinthia.  Voted ‘Best UK Spa’ in the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards 2012, it stretches over four stunningly designed floors. Guests can de-stress, soothe, detox or revitalize body and mind in one of 15 treatment rooms. They can cool down in the silver steel swimming pool or vitality pool with air and water massage jets, or just chill on heated relaxation beds. There is also a 24-hour gym. Nutritious spa cuisine can be sampled before or after treatments.
