The three-day wellness travel event, which is part of the acclaimed lifestyle series – Halekulani Living, features a series of immersive workshops and seminars to truly discover the meaning of well-being. As part of the event, Halekulani has partnered with the acclaimed Dr. Meg Jordan, PhD, RN, CWP – whose work has motivated millions of individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives, to host a series of lectures throughout the event.

 

Designed to provide guests with immersive, authentic and memorable experiences surrounding three distinct elements – Connoisseur, Well-Being and Masterworks, the Halekulani Living lifestyle provides guests with enriching opportunities focused on health and wellness, culinary escapes, and masterful works of art.

 

The following highlights just a few of the activities available as part of the upcoming Halekulani Living event:

ha 1The Future of Wellness presented by Dr. Meg Jordan – Offering a framework of the latest trends and research in health, wellness and fitness, this eye-opening presentation showcases the original intent and passion of the well-being movement. Attendees will gain insight on the ingredients required to recover, renew and thrive, and understand why interpersonal connection remains the cornerstone of wellness as a result of the latest findings in neuroscience and motivation research.

SpaHalekulani Blend Bar – An exclusive opportunity for guests to design and create their own custom SpaHalekulani blend of body creams and bath salts, using a variety of essential oils and ingredients that are organic and locally sourced.

Massage Demonstrations – SpaHalekulani is the first in the state of Hawaii to offer several indigenous rituals from the South Pacific and Japan. Guests are invited to observe some techniques used in new signature services, including Taurumi – the traditional Tahitian massage, which involved training under Tahitian Taurumi masters, as well as Zen Shiatsu – an energetic form of bodywork.

Lunch as Your Learn – Join Halekulani’s acclaimed Executive Chef Vikram Garg at the hotel’s legendary indoor / outdoor gathering spot, House Without a Key. In addition to a demonstration with Chef Garg as he prepares a gourmet lunch featuring locally sourced, healthy ingredients, guests will enjoy the delectable cuisine post table-side creation.

Tap Into Your Instinct presented by Dr. Meg Jordan– During this interactive workshop, which expands on the key matters of well-being and connection, Dr. Jordan presents an opportunity to discover the wellness instinct by exploring inborn personality traits and individual social ecology; or characteristics, attitudes, values and beliefs that are reflected in social circles.
