Fall is finally here, and this year the award-winning Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa, located in the heart of the American West, will be hosting a cornucopia of fantastic Thanksgiving events and offerings. Edging the Colorado/Utah border and cradled in the shadow of a Palisade rock formation, Gateway Canyons is the ideal destination for fall travel set against the backdrop of beautiful fall foliage.
Throughout the month of November, the Spa at Gateway Canyons invites guests to indulge in two special treatments – the Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice and the Chai Spice Warming Body Ritual:
Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice (50 minutes) $150
A gentle but effective nourishing body treatment that will immerse your senses and smooth your skin. This seasonal ritual commences with an organic pumpkin and sweet orange body scrub, combining pure cane sugar infused with emollient botanicals to exfoliate the skin leaving it soft as satin. Amber and citrus body butter are then applied throughout a full body balancing massage allowing for a hydrating finish.
Chai Spice Warming Body Ritual (80 minutes) $225
This organic chai spice warming body treatment will leave your system stimulated yet relaxed and your skin refreshed and hydrated. The seasonal journey begins with an exfoliating sugar polish, scented with organic vanilla, cardamom, and black pepper to refresh the complexion and stimulate circulation. A luxurious application of chai spice shea butter cream is then combined with an aromatic full body massage leaving the skin nourished. To conclude this ritual, chai spice & vanilla mango butter foot balm are lathered onto the feet and incorporate a pressure point massage for the reflex zones leaving the body feeling grounded.
