Shake off winter blues and bring life into balance at Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa’s “Be Well Retreat” series. The first of four quarterly “Be Well Retreats” to be offered at the property this year, the “Be Empowered” session will take place from March 4-5, 2016. Focusing on self-empowerment, inspiration for the soul, and mindfulness, the retreat’s panelists will offer guidance to help participants find balance professionally, personally and spiritually while embarking on their own paths to wellness.

As part of the series, Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa is offering exclusive Be Well Retreat Packages, which includes luxurious accommodations. Rates are from $377 per night, based on double occupancy, and include a healthy lunch and full access to the wellness programs. For reservations call 1-800-THE-OMNI and reference promotion code PKGBEW. Day passes are also available to local residents by calling the resort at 1-814-624-8100.

For the inaugural “Be Empowered” retreat, keynote speaker Therese Jornlin will share advice on whole-health related topics including the relationship between body, spirit and energy. A gifted teacher, hands-on therapist and transformational coach, Jornlin is a certified massage therapist, Chilel QiGong instructor and nutritional counselor with the Essential Eating Group. Tapping her extensive education in bodywork modalities and movement therapies for whole-brain learning, Jornlin has worked with individuals dealing with a wide variety of issues. She has also studied and facilitated Empowering Women’s programs and Coming-of-Age programs for girls.

Additional speakers include Beth G. Raps, PhD., a philosopher, fundraiser, meditator, money coach and mother, as well as Angie Yasulitis, who through her consulting practice has trained hundreds of people on being accountable to marketing, recruiting, and wellness strategies. As founder and creator of the FEAST coaching model, Yasulitis focuses on the convergence of daily decisions in five key areas that lead to personal well-being and inner strength. In addition to learning from top wellness professionals, program participants will enjoy evening mediation, a champagne toast, a delicious and healthful lunch, moments of reflection, and mixing and mingling with like-minded individuals.

Subsequent wellness retreats include “Be Inspired” (May 12-14), “Be Mindful” (July 8-9), followed by the culmination of the series in the fall with the second-annual “Be Well Weekend” (September 9-11), with more than a dozen experts educating participants on topics encouraging holistic wellness. Guests attending more than one “Be Well Retreat” in 2016 have more than guidance to look forward to:
