Well there is a lot to worry about when you travel anywhere, but especially somewhere you are not familiar to your surroundings. When I travel the first thing I do is get out and get the “lay of the land” as they say. So one of the last things I want to worry about is maneuvering around an airport like Heathrow or Bristol. Airports can be a beast of an array of pathways and “forks in the road” as to where to head to make your flight or just head out to Bristol airport parking. The decision tree going on in your head must be vast and massive in your brain as you try to decide one movement to another.
Well my next trip to Europe I have decided to get a car and try my hand at driving – yes on the other “wrong” side of the road. BUT you know they think we are the ones driving on the wrong side. When heading to the U.K. there are two main airports to arrive. They are the largest Heathrow and then the smaller one is Bristol.
Last time I arrived in Bristol, but this time it is Heathrow. I heard it is a giant of airports, but hope I can at least find my way to pick up the car. One of the main travel websites said to head toward the signs that say parking. As I research parking at the airport I found lots of Heathrow parking offers from parkBCP. Anyone had any experience with them? The reviews I saw online were good. You are welcomed to check them out with the link above. If you do use them just know that I do not get a commission. Just sharing information. I love research and also connecting with you by sharing that information!
So you tell me! What is your experience driving in London? Do you think I should attempt it? How about out in the countryside? Bath, England would be a nice day trip? Only one of the birthplaces of spa travel! Let me know by a comment below!
