Have you ever meant to Google something and just keep forgetting to? That is what I have been meaning to do for Tenerife. It keeps coming up in my travel reading, so I thought it must be a place to know. Well I found out that Tenerife is in the Canary Islands and almost any island setting sounds good to me. After doing an image search, I realized that this place looks remarkable and I must find out more. I want to thank Jet2Holidays for this lovely guest post describing what one can expect if they decide to find out more about Tenerife Life!
Nestled away on the west coast of the Tenerife in the Canary Islands, the stunning Playa la Arena is just a short Jet.2 flight away for those holidaymakers who are looking for a trip to take them away from their daily stresses.
For those who crave the sun, there’s the gorgeous small volcanic beach that the area is renowned for, famous for its beauty, but has also been the deserving recipient of the internationally recognized Blue Flag for its cleanliness and the quality of nearby amenities for the last 24 years. Along the waterfront there are plenty of scuba diving schools that offer you and your family the unmissable opportunity to dive with whales or dolphins in the gorgeous turquoise waters that make Tenerife one of the most popular beach destinations. There’s also the chance to take a boat tour around the striking cliffs that make up the coastline.
If you’re looking for something more active to do, Playa la Arena is situated just west of the spectacular Mount Teide National park where you can visit the third largest dormant volcano in the world, and the largest mountain in Spain. You can take a bus or hire a car, or if you fancy a challenge, trek up to the top of the 3718m high mountain. The views are breathtaking, it’s a must-see if you want an adventurous holiday.
With so much to do, it’s vital that when you finally make your way back to your hotel that it’s as luxurious and comfortable as possible. The Be Live Playa La Arena is a whitewashed paradise, with plenty of palm trees to rest under by the pool and stunning sea views. There are two pools and three bars, including a Piano bar, to choose from, so you’ll never be without somewhere to spend your lazy days or nights. There’s also a gym and a wellness center within the hotel, so you can make the most of your time away to reinvigorate yourself completely.
After working up a sweat, either on the sunbeds or in the gym, you’ll be sure to have an appetite for some of the mouthwatering food that Be Live has on offer. Meals are served as a buffet of delicious and varied dishes, ranging from local delicacies to international favorites, with chefs at hand to cook your meat or fish exactly how you like it. And after such a feast, what more could you want than to settle in to a night of popular entertainment put on for you by the hotel.
Finally, let’s not forget the children in the family, there’s the Kids Club which puts on a whole range of entertainment for them, including a Disco every night which is perfect for tiring them out, leaving you time to soak up the atmosphere in this beautiful resort in Tenerife.
