How & Where to Be Cool in Atlanta or Your Own Town for New Year’s & All of 2011
1. PLAN – It’s not going to happen if you sit on the couch or only at the computer! Use a great day planner like Moms Agenda and right it down!
2. Be a Tourist in your own Town – Tourist never look cool no matter how hard they try, but if you are a tourist in your own town of course you will be the coolest one! You may not even need to have to walk around with your nose in a map! Also Staycations are cool and smart. You will discover things that you just past by in your average daily commute. You can discover things with a new perspective! Don’t hesitate to visit a local tourist bureau of see what others think is a “must see” for your local area!
3. Aspiring Foodie or Just Watch the Food Channel A Lot –
On your next vacation or in your local town try an off the beat cafe location or off the common menu dining establishment. If you have a bad experience it at least makes a good story, but have the TUMS on had for the possible after effects! You never know something could become your new fav!
3. Relax & Refresh – Visit a Spa! What else did you expect me to say! It does not have to be in Ireland like Kenmare Park Hotel in the Ring of Kerry, but you can find a great Spa Week Hotel almost anywhere! Just click the banner on this page.
Here is a little info about my lovely visit to the Kenmare Hotel in the Ring of Kerry – Ireland. This spa was amazing at how it blended with the surrounding area. You can sit in a relaxing room with glass walls and feel like you are in the middle of a forest, but with the comforts of a spa! The SAMAS was designed to provide and Indulgence of the Senses. Treatments were designed from techniques and traditions from the foothills of the Himalayas to the waters of Kenmare Bay!
5. Get out and go – Visit this blog daily to find or inquire about the hottest things to try in your own area! I get so much information sent to me (hundreds of requests a day) to feature things on my blog. Well I have them all in my head, so let this Second Generation Concierge (and it runs in her blood/blog) assist you with either a great idea or spark a new beginning.
