DAV has asked me to share my views on their program. All views are my own and I am super excited I checked them out. We all have those cars that seem to become a part of our familys. Cars that stay with us way past the time that they are getting daily use. Or possibly you have a very loved car and you have finally decided it is time to upgrade for your daily driving. Let DAV come to your rescue and let this be the time to support a veteran in a very real way. Help the brave men and women who served by donating any car, truck, RV or boat to DAV and you could qualify for a tax deduction at the same time. This is the perfect moment to give back to those that have  protected our great land of the United States of America. The DAV Car Donation Program is for YOU!

Donating is not only a super great way to get rid of an old or extra vehicle crowding your parking space or driveway at your home, but also a way to avoid the huge cost and hassle of finally repairing or seriously selling a car you no longer need or want. Give that car a new life and a very special new home with the DAV Car Donation Program.

I am so enthusiastic for vehicles and how they help us in our daily lives that I am definitely looking into donating my vehicle when the time comes for my next ride. I always pride myself in supporting veteran causes. This is especially important during the holidays. My father is a veteran.

Your donation to DAV’s vehicle donation program is a great resource that will make a huge difference in supporting an important mission.  The DAV mission provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families. They help more than one million veterans in a positive, life-changing way each and every year. We should all be part of something this good.

Why Donate Your Car?

Their super easy process will even provide you with a totally free and super easy convenient pick-up. You can turn your vehicle into useful resources that help ensure our nation’s heroes have the opportunity to enjoy the freedoms their sacrifices have made possible. Wow it makes me feel so warm and thankful just thinking about it. This is the season to give.

Want to know more? Here is how it works!

Here’s How It Works:

  1. You visit the website Car4DAV.com to submit your secure online form or you can always just call 844-440-4267 – even seven days a week – wow so convenient.

2.You can then easily schedule Your Free and Convenient Pick-up:  DAV works around your schedule to pick-up your donated vehicle to make it super convenient for you. As long as your vehicle is towable and tow truck accessible iy is super easy.  Also, DAV provides a completely free and super convenient pick-up that is a very touchless experience. They can pick up your vehicle just about anywhere in the U.S. within 72 hours of completing the donation.

  1. Get Your Tax Deduction. Most vehicle donations qualify for a tax deduction. When your vehicle is picked up, the driver will provide you with an initial donation receipt. You may claim as a tax deduction the fair market value of your vehicle up to $500 on your donation even if your vehicle sells for less. If your vehicle sells for over $500, we will provide a 1098-C IRS form which will allow you to claim the full sale price.
  2. All vehicles are considered! They accept cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, trailers, boats, campers, off-road vehicles, heavy equipment, and most other motorized vehicles— whether they’re running or not. Wow that is amazing!

DAV empowers veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. It is dedicated to a single purpose: keeping our promise to America’s veterans. DAV does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; providing employment resources to veterans and their families and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. DAV, a non-profit organization with more than 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S. Congress in 1932. Learn more at www.dav.org.
