President and Founder of Healing Waters Spa & Cosmetic Clinic, Amanda Gorecki, has always had a passion for skincare and beauty. She began to turn her dreams into a reality in 2002 when she opened the first Healing Waters spa location in Wichita, Kansas. With great success, she opened a second location three years later in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and a third location opens this week in Columbia, South Carolina.
Coming from a background as a registered nurse practitioner, Gorecki always knew that she wanted to make a difference in the lives of women. In 2007, she developed the proprietary skin care line, Pure MD® Skin Science. This revolutionary skincare line addresses issues with aging, acne, rosacea and more. She combined the success of her spas with her skincare line by offering customized Pure MD® facials and retail products.
Gorecki is regarded as an expert on skin care ingredients and continues to devote her time towards the expansion of both Healing Waters and Pure MD®. She has lectured nationally on cosmeceuticals at various women’s conferences nationwide, and has been granted multiple professional honors and awards, such as being named one of the 40 Under 40 by the Wichita Business Journal. Healing Waters has twice been named the Best Media Spa in the Country, as well as received numerous local awards for Best Spa, Best Massage, and more. “When we have a positive self-image, we are able to project that positivity out into the world around us,” Gorecki says. Her ultimate goal is to make a difference in the lives of others by helping people find their self-confidence.
