Spring is almost upon us and yes this is supposed to be a time of rebirth and growth for the earth and ourselves. This is time to up our health and wellness too.

Recently after some events in my family, I have reset my thoughts on health and wellness. I say it should never be sacrificed. Yes you can have your cheat days, but keep your eye on the prize.

I have had more than my fair share of stress in my life lately and I hate to say that most always includes more sugar, wine and not the healthiest food choices. My priorities shifted away from wellness for a while, but now I am ready to be the healthiest I can.

Remember back during the holidays, I told you all about SEED, with Ways to Make Your Body a Home? Well, I have found my way back to SEED and all it can do to help us all out and be our partner on our wellness journey during spring or any season.

SEED needs to be a part of your wellness journey!

FYI – these views are my own and not those of Seed or Mamavation. They did gift me some items including a comfy sweatshirt and educate me with SEED University so I could make my own decision about their product.

Now we all need reminders sometime – especially me, so here it what you need to know to improve your own health.

As we all prepare for spring and are ready to get out of the house more (can I hear an amen?) or   this a gentle reminder that your body is your first priority. It is a home to you and to the community of 38,000,000,000,000 microorganisms that live in and on you. Yes that number is right. 38,000,000,000,000 MICROORGANISM.

I pledged not to abandon my routines this season. And that begins with taking my SEED Daily Synbiotic every morning—so I can nurture my world within at a time it needs it most. A Probiotic – Yes I will need a reminder, so I have a really cute little rose gold basket holding all my morning routine supplements. With it right in front of my face (and near the espresso maker), hopefully my mind will take the hint.

Here is what you NEED – Seed’s Daily Synbiotic combines 24 clinically-verified, naturally-occurring, probiotic strains with plant-based prebiotics sourced from Indian pomegranate, Scandinavian chaga mushroom, and pine bark that confer systemic benefits including digestive health, skin health, heart health, gut immune function, gut barrier integrity, and micronutrient synthesis. It also comes in amazing sustainable packaging. Your first month includes a glass jar for monthly refills, and a complimentary travel vial (perfect for trips). Monthly Refills come in a bio-based, compostable oxygen + moisture protection pouch, which is further protected by corn foam —it’s biodegradable, backyard compostable, edible, and dissolves in water (seriously, try it).

Yes not only at this time of the year, but all times of the year – disruption happens to your daily routines, your body does take a toll and that includes your microbiome too, So I please use these tips to help nourish and nurture your whole self through the season. Thank you Seed for helping me with these tips.

Ways to Improve your Microbiome & Health

  • Control Your Sweet Tooth
  • Eat a Lot of Veggies
  • Take It Easy On The Cheat Days
  • Stick To Your Routines
  • Manage Your Stress Levels
  • Get Outside & Some Fresh Air
  • Take A Daily Probiotic (I know the perfect one:)

Yes I consider after graduating from the SEED University, that #7 Take a Daily Probiotic is the most important. Yes I knew this before that probiotics were good for us. I spent numerous periods of time in my life when I paid attention to my intake, but now I know why they are important and that I need to pick the habit back up.

PSA/Public Service Announcement continues….

Life often comes like a tidal wave, sweeping us off our feet and out of the routines we’ve built to keep ourselves happy and healthy. You need health staying on your feet and SEED can help.

What I have learned is that we are all very capable of making better daily life choices that are much better for our health. Beyond the usual eating right and making good lifestyle choices – probiotics (and yes prebiotics) are great tools to be part of your wellness journey.

SEED makes scientifically validate probiotics that can have many whole body benefits. Seed tells me great probiotics can shorten the length of the common cold (WOW) and also increase the efficacy of that dreaded flu shot. Also a very important one is to help maintain digestive health during travel.
