She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from Gulbarga University, India and Master of Science Degree in Yoga from Mangalore University, India.
Vidya has a decade long experience as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and was also Vice Principal at a renowned Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences Institution in Karnataka, India for over 12 years. She has extensive experience consulting, suggesting therapies, and advising on Ayurvedic remedies, teaching Graduate students Yoga therapy, Under-Graduate students Ayurvedic practices, advising therapies & managing 100 bed in-house hospital regimens.
As the Lead Yoga Counselor/ Ayurveda Counselor, Vidya provides initial and ongoing consultation to guests and suggests Ayurvedic therapies and diets based on their health history and wellness goals. Along with the rest of the staff at YO1, Vidya helps guide our guests on the path to holistic, lasting wellness. She guides our Yoga instructors, takes private yoga sessions in Asana, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra and Meditation techniques. She also conducts wellness lectures for the guests on various health topics, Ayurveda and Yoga.
