Springtime is basically Black Friday for spa-lovers. Right in time for warmer weather, it’s time for the biannual Spa Week celebration.
For Spa Week, which runs April 17-23, you can get majorly discounted treatments on specific treatments at spas around the nation. Each featured treatment is just $50.
For 13 years, Spa Week has promoted a healthy lifestyle for everyone, even people who can’t afford a normally priced treatment. Increasingly more Americans are incorporating alternative and preventative health care into their wellness regime, according to SpaWeek.com. And studies show that massages and other forms of relaxation and self-care can reduce stress and cortisol levels, which are tied to a long list of health problems.
Spa Week deals span everything from salt therapy to cryotherapy to good, ol’ massages with aromatherapy. That’s what you can get at the Mokara Spa at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado, although this is far from your average massage.

Request therapist Kevin if you want to be completely swept away by one of the most expert therapists in the state.
Mokara is offering a variety of discounted treatments for Spa Week, but the aromatherapy Spring Botanical Massage is a highlight.

Photo by Aimee HeckelThe Omni alone is a stunning resort, ideally located right between Boulder and Denver off the popular Highway 36, and just a short hop to the exciting Flatiron Mall. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you’ll be greeted by spa water and fresh apples. Head downstairs to the intimate spa and grab a cup of tea in the relaxation room.
Massages can be personalized to meet your unique needs, and the essential oils help deepen the relaxation, using traditions of the East. A 50-minute aromatherapy massage is usually $125.
After your treatment, retreat back to the relaxation room and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne or a mimosa to help ease you back into the real world.
