Today a revolutionary way to wonder has begun.  Yes it is not only my 25th Wedding Anniversary today it is also the launch of Younderbound, a new way to think of traveling yonder! Yonderbound inspires wonder and the dream to travel.

I have been playing around on Yonderbound and made a few of my own boxes.  Take a look at mine named Scottsdale Exploration or it’s nickname #ScottsdaleInvasion. What a place to get ideas for an all inclusive holiday! I started my box before my trip and then returned to it when I got back home to add in some more information tips or additional places I want to visit next time.

Here is the link to my Scottsdale Exploration #ScottsdaleInvasion Younderbox!

Yonderbound, a new, global online travel marketplace, announced the launch of its inspirational community website today. Founded by four women with more than 30 combined years of travel and tourism experience, Yonderbound’s unique, socially shareable trip-planning tool was created to shake up the online travel booking industry.

“We founded Yonderbound with the belief that everyone has the right to travel, and a mission to reduce the barriers of travel so that people can see more of the world,” said Barbara Muckermann, founder and CEO of Yonderbound. “As a company, we will do everything in our power to make that happen, to the point of forgoing advertising and paid media to reinvest portions of our profits to fund trips for our customers.”

Offering more than 380,000 hotels worldwide at competitive rates, Yonderbound allows users to custom-build a Yonderbox, a personal, easy-to-use planning tool — similar to a scrapbook — that helps users to properly plan their vacations at their leisure. Users can build a Yonderbox for each trip they are planning, adding inspirational photos, bookmarking their favorite hotels, adding notes and collecting links to attractions or events along the way.

Accessible from any mobile device, Yonderbound also allows users to easily share their Yonderboxes with friends and family on Facebook, to inspire them and allow them to make recommendations. Alternatively, users can search through and pick out perfectly curated Yonderboxes from a variety of travel experts or other users.

“Yonderbound is designed for constant evolution, relying on the power of its community to continue to grow and define the future of the company,” said Barbara Biffi, founder and chief product officer of Yonderbound. “At Yonderbound, you are free to decide where you want to go, with no immediate pressure to book, allowing you to take the time you need to decide and build your dream trip at your own pace.”

Yonderbound supports all forms and styles of travel by all people. Headquartered in Monaco with team members in Milan, London and Miami, the company also follows the strategic priority of the World Travel & Tourism Council, defending people’s right to travel safely, securely and efficiently across international borders.

With an inventory of more than 380,000 hotels worldwide, Yonderbound is here to reduce the barriers to travel, and give everyone the chance to explore more of the world. Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, however you like to do it and whatever you do when you get there, Yonderbound just wants you to travel!
