Okay now I know most all of us have had some kind of self tanning nightmare to share. I recently was at a roundtable discussion where a bride even shared the fact that her tan turned the back of her wedding dress orange all the way through! I also have a memory of my own way back in high school where I almost got caught with those dreaded orange hands. I quickly came up with the “fact” that I had been helping my parents refinish antique furniture which is true, but I don’t think all that orange was furniture stain! - They provide an even, safe and clean tan on face and body in just 3 hours, giving a natural, healthy skin tone. No side effects, no streaking.
- Their formula, with a moisturizing complex, eliminates the feeling of tightness and keeps the skin soft. Their perfume leaves no aroma on the skin.
Do not contain sun filters. - The Self-Tanning towelettes are safe, unlike uv rays their formula does not penetrate the deep layers of the skin.
- The tan tone depends on the skin type and their intensity adapts to provide natural results on both fair and dark skins. Recommended for all skin types. (Paraben-Free)
Active Ingredients in Sunless Tanning:
- Dehydroxiacetone (DHA) The best self-tanning active ingredient available. A natural sugar without any side effects. And with these additional properties: Pigmentating property this reacts with the proteins in the top layer of the epidermis, providing a similar coloration to the sun tan.
- Transcutol – a very powerful agent of penetration which helps the reaction of DHA.
- Filmougeneous Polymer (UCON) – adds moisturizing and emollient properties.

Good Luck!
Well where do I begin when it comes to bad self-tanning experiences??? Oh my, I was taught at a very young age that lying in the sun and going to tanning beds are both very bad for my skin. My mother is and always has been very diligent in taking wonderful care of her skin, in fact to this very day people think she is my sister…..I am 32 she is almost 60. With all of that being said I was not allowed to go to tanning beds or slather myself with baby oil and lie in the sun, but of course I wanted that sultry glow that tanning provides, just not the skin damage. Over the years I think I have tried every single self-tanning product on the market. I find some I like, I find some I hate. My WORST experience so far with self-tanning has been with getting my face to match my body and…..not have the product break me out. I mean come on I am 32 I shouldn’t have pimples….right? Whenever I find a product I want to try it either says for the body only, which means I have to purchase a separate product for my face, that never ends up matching the color of my body, or the instructions claim that the tanner is intended for use on body and face as well, and I end up with really dark (tanned) pimples all over my face. I would really love to find a self-tanner that is a great color, easy to use, and can be applied to both my body and face for even natural looking color without the breakouts. Are these what I have been searching for all of these years???-Carrie Moreillon

We’ll see! Thanks for sharing your story!
I am 35 yrs old. I have tried almost every self tanner since I was a teenager. I have been streaked, bright orange. You name it. One day I had a very special date. Early that morning I tried yet another self tanner. Put it one just like it said. Early that morning I put it on. It was one that showed instantly. after dinner we went for a walk on the beach. It started to rain. Next thing he looked at me with this look. I had white streaks all over. Also the tanner ran all over his and my clothes. Horrified beyond belief!!! P.S. I also went an liked both facebook pages. Amber7582@gmail.com

Oh Megan – I don’t think anyone really wants to look like a pumpkin especially a bruised one! Thanks for entering and Good Luck!
Oh goodness, being a southern California beach baby, I worshiped the sun– pool or beach every summer I had the darkest tans! When I reached high school, I started doing the tanning salon bit until I got a nasty skin fungus from the beds. Ew, gross, I know!
Needless to say, I have stayed away from the tanning beds only to run to the arms of oopma-loompa make-up for self-tanners. I have yet to find one that actually gives me my natural tan color. I do like to use MAC’s Skinsheen Spray, its like makeup bronzer, but for your body, BUT it washes off.
Hoping these tan towels work for me!!! Liked your page and Comodynes :)

Sadly…. with my skin tones, I never tanned a day in my life- I just burnt, peeled and burnt again. About 10 years go I was dx with Lupus, so I found out in addition why the sun made me so sick(boo hoo!) With my health problems, I’m hesitant to try the tanning beds.

Completed #1 and #2.
I don’t self tan because I’m already brown but the other products look great.
I have never used self tan.. maybe it might help uneven skin tones here & there.. My daughter has the experience
the first time I used a self tanner I turned orange and it took forever to wear off. That was years ago and I have been hesitant to use any again.
I did all 3 requested items.
This would be great to win. I burn easily so I’m rarely out in the sun. Would be nice to have some color preferably non streaks! :)
I like you both on fb as Dee G.

Thanks everyone and “good luck”!!!
My personal tanning experience has been that I have olive colored skin, but always felt the need to get a base tan come summer time and keep a little color during winter. The unfortunate news is last winter I found out I am at high risk for skin cancer. It came as a huge shock being that I have the skin tones I do and have never had an issue with burning, but none the less I stopped tanning immediately. I now use nothing after having minor surgery on my skin. It frightened me to say the least and I now use 50 spf when I was using 4. I also did items 1 & 2 above! Great giveaway and I like to read others experiences as well!
Way back in high school I tried a self tanner and turned orange. I was mortified and thank god it was the middle of winter and I could cover a lot of it up. Thank god tanning salons opened soon after!
I ruined my skin using tanning beds that promised twice the tan in half the time. They forgot to mention “twice the sun damage” as well.
