At first it was hard to give up the room and comfort and familiarity of my trusted friend, but the time had come.
Have you ever had to give up an old friend because you had just grown apart? Possibly they had been with you throughout thick and thin. Throughout Diapers, Bottles, Sicknesses and Emergencies, they were always there. Somehow it just became time to let go and move on. The friendship was not as shiny and new anymore as it once was and the two of you were just not as good a fit.
Soon after the separation you acquired a new friend. This friendship was shiny and new. The comfortable fit was improving daily. I was careful not to tarnish this new friendship because somehow I knew that it was meant to be. It gave me time to move more quickly and stylishly in my daily endeavors. Those stagnant days were now behind me, so this new friend and I did some swift smooth sailing and grew together.
